We collect your email address when you join our waitlist. When you connect your GitHub account, we access pull request data and Terraform file diffs solely to perform cost analysis. We do not store your source code or Terraform files beyond the duration of a single analysis.
Your email is used to notify you of waitlist status and product updates. GitHub data is used exclusively to generate infrastructure cost analysis and architecture recommendations. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties.
Waitlist emails are stored securely on our servers. Pull request data processed for analysis is not persisted after the analysis is complete. All data is stored in the European Union on Hetzner infrastructure.
Waitlist email addresses are retained until you request deletion. You can request removal of your data at any time by emailing hello@costguard.org.
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We follow industry-standard security practices and conduct regular reviews of our security posture. We do not store credentials or cloud access keys.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@costguard.org. We will respond within 30 days.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of Costguard after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
